In MOSS 2007, when you're in a list with the web datasheet-view enabled you have the option to export the data into excel. when you click on it excel starts and wants to open the owssvr.iqy in a new spreadsheet.

We have a product that reads and writes xlsx and it works fine with Excel 2007. We implemented this some time ago, purely using the specs (i.e. no Packaging, no SDK etc), and later, more info from the Microsoft OpenXML team.
However, when we upload one of our spreadsheets (no external references, nothing that would traditionally upset Excel Services) it deems the file as corrupt

- We are able to click on shared documents using intranet and the pages open up. But using extranet, can get all the way to the shared portal, click on a sub page then click shared documents and we get a page can not be displayed. BUT if I go up to the address bar and type in the full URL .../shared%20documents/forms/allitems.aspx the page will open up. Has anyone run into this before where the link
