I'm writing a workflow that will ask someone for information (specifically, a tick box to authorise something). But, I only want a small subset of users to be able to do this and mark the task as complete.
By default the workflows I have created in Sharepoint Designer create the task in the Tasks list is created as part of the site when SPS was originally installed.

- I am troubleshooting an error message that occurs on a Load Balanced MOSS 2007 site, "This Web Part Page has been modified since you opened it". I have read the KB Article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/892348 and verified the settings are correct. I receive the error even when the IIS logs show that I only reached one of the two front end web servers.

We have just done a 2003 -> 2007 upgrade. When I add a summary links web part it crashes when we add a new link. Add the webpart itself with no links does not cause a problem, it's only after I add a link and click OK on Modify Web Part.

We hosted WSS 2.0 in our org. as a server farm. All our servers are high end servers with Intel Xeon 3GHz processors, 4GB ram, 200GB Harddsik etc. It takes approx 50-60 secs for the home page to load in http:// and more than 5 mins in https://
But, Our web server is running in a seperate n/w (ie., 10.101.xxx.xxx) with a link speed of 100Mbps and our DB server is placed in a seperate n/w
