      • I've asked this in a few places with no luck. SHAREPOINT FORUMS YOU ARE MY LAST HOPE! ;o) I've created a custom master page. I then created a content type and modified the page template in SP Designer so that the page consists of one single HTML field. It then go to my site and click NEW PAGE, pick the page template, and then it creates a new page and lets me edit the HTML field.

      • I've tried to restore a wss 3.0 site with SP designer, but i'm getting the error message that it cant find a temp file called...settings.xml. I read on here to use stsadm.exe to restore site collections. first question: i used stsadm.exe to back up a site collection on one server. Instead of it creating a .cmp file as expected, it created a folder called spbr000 and a bunch of files inside.
