- I have a sps2003 on w2k3, and after a bad install of another vendor's software, it broke my portal on the default website. I finally got it working, but only for a day. It had been givng 404 and 403 errors, until I changed the app pool identity to one that had access to sharepoint. Then without warning, the next day I can no longer get to the default root page. I'm using share point designer to do the workflow part and have a workflow without condition but the corresponding action defined. I was trying to use the expiration function in the information management policy setting of the list but that doesn't work that nicely.

- This was also an issue with SharePoint in WSS 2.0, but I notice that the windows explorer connectivity to WSS 3.0 / MOSS is sometimes very unreliable and has on several occassions caused the Windows Explorer application to hang indefinitely.
What are other people's experiences with this

In that site , i have search textbo whixh contains --- This Site: MOSS Project.
I clicked on site actions -> site settigs -> search scopes ( under site collection administrators) . In the view scope page , i can see 2 scopes in search dropdown link : ALL SITES and People.
