- I am still running WSS 2.0, I will start with that statement.
I am looking for a way to ensure that after a user has read a posted document that the user has to sign off on this in someway that they 'read' the document, even if that only means they opened and closed it. Is there anyway in WSS 2.0 to do this.

- Hi,
This is a bit confusing, so please bear with me.
I have created three link bars in sharepoint designer which each have links to point to different pages. My problem is that the first link bar is automatically including a link to the second link bar and the second is including a link to the third link bar. When I remove the link to the second link bar, from the first link bar, then it del

- I have seen various posts relating to the creation of an Excel services client by referencing of the WSDL as in a standard web service consumption scenario.
This is obviously fine if SharePoint is actually being installed however I would like to prototype the use of the services without the overhead of installation and provide a stub service for demonstration purposes. Is there a way of ob

- Hello! I need to know the actual security algorithm in SharePoint. I have three questions: 1. What are precedences of allowed and deny - like for example when a user is in two groups, and one is allowed access while the other is not. What would be the resulting permission - deny or allow From my experiments it seems that allow is stronger. 2. What happens when a user is part of several groups - ar

Is it possible to customize the barcode generation feature so that I can "handle" it.
