- Microsoft have released the white paper Using Database Mirroring with Office SharePoint Server and Windows SharePoint Services which is great news for most server farms. However I was interested to know if anyone has experience of this and if they have successfully used mirroring for MOSS with more than 10 databases, which is often the case when following MS best practice on content database sizin

However if you update the StaticName (something like) as follows, you will see that the internal name is not updated.
Code Block

- Hi there, I'm developing a WCM website in MOSS and so have two entry points to the website - one web app for internal use to edit the site (i.e. you have to authenticate), and one for the website (i.e. anonymous access). I've created a master page which obviously has to contain controls that allow users to log in and author content. However since the same master page is used for both web apps, I n

Hope someone can give me some pointers on this one...
I've built a new MOSS farm and performed a database migration - running the precan tool and taking a backup the old myServer_SITE database. I now have it working (pretty much) except for 49 sites that were built from a customised site definition in v2.
I have rebuilt a v3 site definition and I can create new sites from

At times, we access the page and the RSS feeds work correctly, but if I wait about 10 mins or so and refresh the page, they stop working with the following error:

- In Sharepoint designer I am trying to set a custom display form for a list, following the instructions in the Sharepoint designer help.
I've got a functional display form, called DispForm3.aspx. I know it works since I tested it by replacing the form name in the normal URL where a display form is opened.
However I can not get the list to accept this new form as the display item form.
