- I am confused, I keep getting an error telling me GraphicsDevice does not contain a definition for BeginScene. All the posts I find elsewhere (for example http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx PostID=684405&SiteID=1 ) show that as the method to use, as it was in MDX. Any idea what's going on here

- I have an application that draws a large number of point sprites on the screen using DrawUserPrimatives using additive blending. This works fine on the windows version, with around 4 million point sprites being rendered. On the XBOX, when there are greater than around 20,000 sprites nothing draws and then the program exits with code 0 and no error messages. Any insight into what I'm doing wrong -

- Hi, I am using VC++ 6 with the default OpenGL (v1.3.0 build 4.13.01.3317) on Windows 2000 with an Intel 82845 graphics adapter. Without clipping, my application works fine. This is what I see (as expected):
When I apply clipping as follows:
Code Snippet double arrEq[] = {0, -1, 0, 40}; glClipPlane(GL_CLIP_PLANE0, arrEq); glEnable(GL_CLIP_PLANE0);

After that I apply a PixelShader to the RenderTarget and store that in another RenderTarget. Clear the screen with the color white or draw a background image. If I now try to draw the last RenderTarget with the effect applied, the background doesn't show because the RenderTarget h

I know there are about to be 10 million Xbox 360 consoles shipped by the end of this year, but as of last May Microsoft sai

- Hello Everyone,
This is a fairly generic question, and I promise it may sound like a hardward question at first, but it's not really. Does anyone else notice how slow some of the DX10 samples in the Feb SDK are Specifically those that employ the geometry shader such as the displacement mapped lizard and the example of how to do cube mapping in one pass (when you check "Render Car")

- Since loading as assembly by partial name isn't available via the CF 2.0 (and therefore nor the 360), I need to load assemblies (both my own and system) for type inspection via file name (Assembly.LoadFrom method). Don't ask me why...you're not cleared for that. ;-)
- For my own assemblies this is easy and have no problems there.
- For system assemblies on Windows this is easy, I can eit

- I have a MSDN Liscense subscription w/full access to the MSDN Subscriber downloads, support, etc. Its expensive (as most here know).
My question is, does this not include access to the 360 XNA studio creators club Do they really want another 99 bucks out of me after paying 2 grand
I'd be real surprised if this was the case. I thought MSFT MSDN Subscription would break this barrier.
