- We have installed Team Foundation Server Workgroup Edition. Now we want to upgrade so that we can have more than 5 licensed users. We have the appropriate license for Team Foundation Server, so that's not a problem.
What we would like to do is to somehow apply the Team Foundation Server license to the Workgroup Edition without doing a full re-install. Does anyone know if that is possible an

- I'm experiencing some issues regarding users and logins in the CTP7 version. The story: At first, there's no database or login available in the SQL2005 instance When I create a user named testuser in the Schema View , it is nicely added to the users folder as testuser.user.sql . Since it is created without login , I change the piece of the script to for login [testuser] In the Pre-Deployment

- If you are not clever enough to notice the Preserve Pending Changes Locally checkbox is already checked by default, then you are left with your original changes. This is NOT what you want to happen by default. By default you want the changes shelved!
So after this happened, I could not figure out how to undo the local changes. If for some reason you do decide to check the Preserve Pending

- Hi All,
I am developing source control plugin for VS2003 using MSSCCI.
I do not want to allow user to rename or delete the checkedout item. But I am not able to do this because when I rename any checked out item, I never get the previous file name (name before rename) in any MSSCCI function. because of that I can not check the which is the status of item before rename/delete.

we are deploying TFS in our organization for a new project. All our developer machines are in Domain1, while our TFS server is in Domain2 (in a Virtual Machine). When firing VS205TS we log into TFS with Domain2 accounts, and we can work inside VS without problems. But when we go to the VS Command prompt to try to build using MSBuild the process can't access or modify any files on the wo

I have created a test project under a test solution and added it to source control. I have added a few manual tests to this project. The problem is that the test case ID is populated with the local path where the test is stored. I need this to be an autogenerated alphanumeric value. Please let me know how this can be done since I need the tests to be identified in a unique manner.
