I'm having a problem with my database references. When I make changes to my project settings, my database references become invalid, and cease to function. Nothing changes on the database references themselves, but I just get a ton of errors, because it no longer sees the references. It's like they don't exist, and so that other databases don't exist.
My work-around is to remove

I keep getting this error message even though when I query sysservers there is a server named ANNEALING. The SQL code works great on the on-line server.

I am developing source control plugin for VS2003 using MSSCCI APIs. While doing time consuming operation, i am showing one progress window which shows the currently executing commands. Progress window is displayed in main thread while long running task is executed on child thread. MSSCCI APIs are implemented in VC++ project and Progress window in in C# (1.1) project.

- I branched my entire source base into a new project, but the problem is I forgot I didn't want to include all files in the branch. I'm now scared that if I delete the files I didn't want to branch in the new folder the delete change might get merged back up to the source branch by someone.
Is there any way to 'break' the branch link between selected files / folders and then delete them
