- Hello:
The "Generating list of changesets and updating work items" step of a pretty standard release build is taking anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. It takes this long even if the new build includes only one changeset with one file. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this The solution I'm building contains two vb.net class libraries, one website, and one web deployment project

- Go into Registry Editor (Start, Run, "regedit"). Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Office, 11.0, Delivery. There should be only 1 directory under Delivery, which is your DownloadCode (mine was 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9). Select that directory. On the right side of the screen, right-click on CDCache. Change the value to 0.
honestly works with out a hitch.

- Hello,
If I recall correctly I can remember coming across an article which explained how to customize your msbuild files to make team build ignore certain folders when getting the source from TFSSC.
Does anyone have a link to this article or information on how to do this
Also, part of the reason why I'm doing this is I seem to have so many nested directories I've hit the 260 c

- Hello, I configured the Visual Studio 2005 debugger for getting symbol files from the Microsoft symbol files server at http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols . This seems to work fine, but my problem is that on each run it tries to load symbols for a third party DLL that does not exist on Microsoft files server and will probably never be available anywhere. As each try freezes my debuggee pr

- Hi,
I need to remove a user from the "contributors" list after he/she checks-in a changeset. I was thinking to use a Policy for that, but maybe that is not the best place to do it.
Can I add that to somewhere else
Any ideas welcome!
Thanks,

Following the advice given by the Data Dude ( http://blogs.msdn.com/gertd/archive/2007/07/26/database-references.aspx ), after installing SR1 we have created Refererences and Refactored all links to be in the expected format, e.g.
