- Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to develop C++ code in Visual Studio 2005, perform a build on a Unix machine using the C++ Unix Compiler, and obtain the detailed output listing of the build, and display it in the Visual Studio IDE
Also, can "build integrity" be done in this instance, which shows all of the files (and their versions) that were involved in the parti

How can I figure out what happened here Something similar happened a day or two ago causing us to rebranch, to make sure we were sync'd and caused another issue I reported

- Hi, I am wondering if there is any documentation of the data format (of the vsp files) produced by the performance analyzer. As the files are pretty big (depending on the application complexity and the analysis mode) they might actually store the raw data of the analyzing process. Neither, the IDE nor the command line tools (VSPerfReport.exe) allow a dump of the real data. Although, it is nice to

- Hi, I thought I'd post here some code I wrote recently which provides the ability to perform assertions within unit tests, on thread other than the foreground thread. This avoids the issues with unhandled assertion exceptions on background threads causing test failures (without the failure reason being recorded). I searched around but could find no good way of doing this, so I came up with the fol

- Once I've made a call to Project.Build, how can I cancel the operation
I've investigated starting this method up in a seperate thread and aborting the thread but that introduces other complexities.
Is there an easy way to cancel this call (for someone unfamiliar with marshaling threads) (how is VS and TFSBuild.exe doing this )
Thanks for any reply...
