- Hi,
I have a Web application that works as follows:
- An ASP.net page generates an XML string linked to an XSLT stylesheet and sends it to Internet Explorer. - Internet Explorer applies the stylesheet and displays the resulting HTML page in the browser.
Everything worked great with IE6 and most of this still works fine in IE7 except for one page. In that page, I return an XML string simil

- Hi and help..
I run Xp pro v 5.1 Sp2 on a dell 6400 laptop.
I've started to get a problem with IE6 where it closes down without warning (which is very annoying!)
I've run through McAfee updates and viruscheckers and removed anything vaguely suspicious and no change.
I purchased REGcure and ran that as well removed varoius assorted 'problems' and still have the same problem.

- Does anyone know how to prevent control-clicking text in IE7 from highlighting the text block I need to use control-clicking for another purpose and the default behavior is getting in the way. This behavior is clearly implemented on mouseDown, but efforts to intercept the event or block it from bubbling seem to have no effect.

- Hi,
I am having problems starting IE7. When I start IE7 it hangs for ages, maybe a few minutes before starting then everything runs OK. I don't think IE7 is the problem because when I start my network connection (tiscali broadband) explorer hangs too and nothing will run until it clears itself, several minutes later.
When I boot Windows (XPSP2) iexplorer.exe runs at boot and tries to connect

I have turned every pop-up blocker I can find off to no avail. I've done system restore and it worked temporarily. I've reset every setting to default in the internet options and it still won't work. I have an application which uses JScript/CScript to drive IE via the InternetExplorer.Application ActiveX object. The script navigates to various URLs and simulates a user interacting with the web page.

- Hi, I am a total newbie to Visual Studio. So, please forgive me if the question is trivial or does not fit for this forum. I have to write a program in Visual C++ (or some other better suited language) which takes an HTML page as input and outputs the position (X,Y coordinate relative to top of the page) of any given html element (e.g. <BODY> element). From some research, I was able to fit i

From what I've heard, you're supposed to be able to call an embedded activex function or set one of its properties from the javascript in an html/asp page as long as the function or property is declared as public in the code.
I have an activex control embedded in an html page with the object tag:
<object ID="gis" classid="clsid:C9905EA4-468A-46c0-BCF4-49A547B3A2E6&qu

When the mouse is pushed down I enable a span with a dotted line border. Then when the button is held down and the mouse moved, I adjust the size of the span in order to make its border track the mouse.
