      • Hi, I installed WDS a few weeks ago, and all seemed fine, but I've just noticed a oddity where it is not correctly finding older Word documents, but only if they exist in a Folder. If the same word document exists in a zip file in a folder or as an attachment to an Outlook e-mail then it is being found.       • Hi! I wish to create a kinematic entity that won't collide with any other entities/shapes in the scene. The behavior would be somewhat like Ghost mode in various games when one can pass through walls. Is there some way to turn the collisions off for a kinematic entity AGEIA documentation mentions collision groups with switchable collisions. Is anything like that supported here

      • Does anyone happen to know if OS vendors are going to be incorporating data de-duplication as part of the OS. Products like EMC's Avamar offer huge benefits on storage of files. But I can's see why we need a third party product to manage this. When can we see Data-De-duplication as part of the OS views/comments welcome.

      • I'm having a rough time deciding which DBMS to use. I'm building a small Windows Application and I needed the database to be a local file, just like MsAccess (.mdb). But at the same time I need this to be secure so that only the software can modify the data in this file. And I'm not sure whether MsAccess gives you that safety... but then, it's the only DBMS that I know that can be stored locally.

      • Hi -- this is my 3nd long, labored attempt at getting WDS to work as GDS suks at email. I have over 300000 emails across many different .PST files. So I know GDS is just no good (like when a rule moves an email...or een the initial indexing) And I admit I may be stretching WDS to the limit. But... Everything I read says WDS can handle it if I applied all the upgrades and patches.
