- Hi there,
I'm building a simple Movie Viewer, but I have a small issue with the AudioVideoPlayback API. For some reason, it sometimes lock's the Aspect Ratio (and will add black bars to keep it) but other times it will just stretch the picture. I'm totally lost, since I can't find a solution.
Here's the Basic code I use:

- I was just testing my code on the Server 2008 beta3, and got a stop error. I attached a kernel debugger and got the following details, but I do not see my kernel code in the call stack. Can you tell if this is due to something I am doing wrong in my code, or is this a bug in beta3
Thanks,
Jeremy

- I have developed a hierarchical custom search protocol handler, which I have been trying to integrate with Windows Search on Vista. The steps I've taken to register the handler are:
1. Create a REG_SZ value under HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows Search/ProtocolHandlers. The MSN WDS Toolbar documentation mentions an AddProtocol method that can be called on the SearchManager, but this does not exi

Looking at the claim, exactly 235 patents, you would think Microsoft would know which patents they are talking about. My question: Which patents are they talking about Greetings, Bart Vullings.

- Jeromy Carriere's MSDN Webcast: Patterns and Anti-Patterns in SOA critiques web services implemented as a Sub (void method), with no indication of success returned. I don't understand why we would want the clutter of in-line checking for success. There's no end to it once you start down this path -- instead, why not catch exceptions thrown by the web method It seems even if you call a method async

QA typically verifies installation by manually checking files (if they exist, if they are proper version) and other things on each webserver. This method is becoming overly burdensome

I am totally new to Robotics Studio. I was introduced briefly to LabView when I was in college and I wonder if your product is similar.
In general, and not considering only visual programming, is Robotics Studio capable of doing the same things as LabView If not, are you planning to it
Can Robotic Studio be used for industrial automation
Thanks a lot.
