I am in process of evaluating that for simple CRUD operations(select, update, delete, insert), should we use stored procedures or should we fire queries directly from DAL for performance enhancement leaving aside the fact the stored procedure pproach will mix the data access and business logic .

QA typically verifies installation by manually checking files (if they exist, if they are proper version) and other things on each webserver. This method is becoming overly burdensome

- Hi,
I installed WDS version 3.01 and the free non-commercial version of "StarOffice IFilter" for staroffice/openoffice documents.
Looking in WDS "Advanced" properties, in "File Types", the corresponding files types (for example .odf .odt) are associated to "StarOffice IFilter", so it seems the install and registration of the dll was successful.

I really like the functionality of WDS, but I also like the ability to search for network printers. Maybe I'm just not use to the new search interface, but I can't seem to search for printers anymore. Any help would be appreciated.
