- Hello all, I have ported a chunk of code from C# to C++ and have 1 error on compile which I can't seem to fix. The main problem is that I don't understand what the error is trying to tell me, so if anyone could shed some light on the matter, or point out why I am getting the error that would be great. The code is below, and the line the error occurs on is in bold:

- Hey all,
I'm trying to take my working C++ code I made in Visual Studio and export it as a dll instead of an exe. Looking at an online guide, I found out I had to create a new Project (kind of annoying, but whatever) so I did Project from Existing Code, included MFC and started compiling stuff. After setting up the compiler to look in the include directory of VS 2005 (is this odd that it w

- Using VS 2005 and I've been googling for the last several hours and keep getting the sdame 2 answers to the "cannot convert char[...] to LPCWSTR" or some other variation of that.
The "offending" line of code:
MessageBox(hWnd, szBuffer, NULL, MB_OK);
The first answer is useless - using L"" or _T(x) - since I want to use a variable, not a constant.

I know that eVC 4.0 can build and link this MFC app, as-is, into a "unmanaged app" that can run natively in a CE.NET environment.
Can Visual Studio 2005 perform the same kind of build and link of the MFC a
