- I've designed an architecture which uses DLLs to expose types through common bases, creating instances using an anonymous factory-style pattern. I intend to mix window types and standard object types together as if they are the same thing - but the architecture will know, when creating an instance that one is a window whereas another is an object.

- Hi,
I'm working on a standard Win32 library, and I'd like to catch my own critical errors and log them, but the CRT consistently displays its own error handler instead. I've searched the help files for methods that control critical error handling, but still there's no change. I thought perhaps "SetErrorMode" or "_CrtSetReportMode" might make a difference:

- I created a solution with several C++ and Managed C++ projects, each with Win32 and x64 builds.
When I click on the solution, and go to Project Dependencies, I can specify that some projects depend on others. I then go to project properties, linker, command line. The outputs of the depended projects were added to the linker command line. This is new, I 've never seen this behavior before. S

- According to the documentation, inheritance is supposed to work between .tool (.rules) files:

However, I cannot find any documentation or example that shows how this would actually work. Does anyone have any idea how this works

Passes file handle to DLL. DLL code tries to access. Crash, access violation. Is this a security issue Thanks in advance.

The reason is that for some reason, after installin the SP, the compiler generates a C2065 on ONE and ONLY ONE value of an enum defined in an IDL file and #imported via the typelib.
Values both before and after this one are seen just fine. It is defined as:
typedef [v1_enum] enum CNVPROPERTYIDS {
