- Hi
I wanted to see if Microsoft was going to address this problem
We as developers want to hide our database design (SQL Express DB)
We dont want to rely on the user rights settings to secure the design
Most of our clients have admin access which means that they can see the db design
We are happy for the design to be available on the server as change control should be given only on

- I am new to script components. I would like to make a simple filter that either passes a row through untouched or eliminates it. I have my input and output buffers set the same, and I have it set as asynchronous. Now these are big rows. Is there a painless way to copy all columns from the input to output buffer, or do I have to do a "Output0Buffer.Col1 = Row.Col1" for each column

- Hi,
I am trying to move my Reporting Services databases from one server to another one. On the old server there was only a single instance so my databases were named ReportServer & ReportServerTempDB. On my new server I have multiple instances and, after installation (which I didn't perform), the databases on the new server are ReportServer$SQL_VS11 & ReportServer$SQL_VS11TempDB.

- This issue arises from a current limitation in the usage of position()
to within a predicate in SQL Server 2005 (if I interpreted the earlier
discussion threads correctly). In my scenario, I need to shred a
sequence of XML elements (actually, menu selections in a call);
but need to include the position/sequence number for each
element as well, when saving them to a relational table.

I have a problem that concerns the abillity to specify rights to edit and run one or more jobs in SQL Server 2005. What a want to accomplish is to let one or more users edit a job and run it. As far as i can see that isn't possible since the user that want's to edit the job has to own the job, and only users can own a job and in that case more than one user won't be able to run the job.
