- I apologize for the code being lengthy but it's a necessary evil at this point.
I was hoping someone could take a look and give me some pointers on optimizing it.
My first question, in T-SQL if the first ELSE IF is true, does it ignore the following ELSE IF's If not, how do I escape out of the block

- Hello, I need to be able to view and save reports using Report Manager. However, I do not want some users the ability to upload files (need to prevent virus or bad files). It appears I need to select manage reports from the role definition in order for a user to save reports. but then i get the upload file link as well. Is there a way to manage reports but prevent upload file link

Short version:
I don't want my T-SQL driven web app to crash with an ODBC error when I (accidentally ) read bad XML.
Longer version:
I'm working with T-SQL stored procedures and XML. Now if sp_xml_preparedocument gets fed bad XML, my webpage output looks like:

- I have two Win 2003 r2 servers. These are not production servers. They are very lightweight boxes for testing apps. Everything worked find when all was on one svr01 except ... too slow.

Basically, I use a Script Task to derive the name of the newest file in a local directory. Then I save the name of the file to user a user variable, e.g. User::File.
