- Hi folks. I'm having this problem with Directory::GetDirectories() & Directory::GetFiles(), where whenever they attempt to access c:\System Volume Information, they throw an exception that prevents them from returning a value. I'm wondering if there's anyway force these methods to continue processing, regardless of exceptions. Here's my code:

- Recently, Microsoft announced that they will be sending out service packs for SQL Server 2005 bimonthly. The 2.0 framework has been out since 12/2005 with no service packs.
Believe it or not, there are bugs in the 2.0 framework. One really nasty one is addressed in KB932491. If you have a single binding source bound to both a grid for navigation and a form for field editing, this is a must ins

- Hi all,
I am wondering if there is a problem with OleDb after you install the Oracle 10G development tools/libraries One thing that I did notice is that after intalling the Oracle 10g developer tools I was no longer able to use OleDb with SSRS 2005 and had to use the straight native Oracle client. Below is a description of what I have observed which led me to believe this may be a problem.

So I ran the VS 2005 extensions thinking that might help me. No luck.
So I removed V3.0 to find that VWD Express still wasn't working.
So I:
removed all express applications
re-installed V3.0
installed Visual Studio 2005 Professional
downloaded and installed the VS2005 SP1
