- I am calling DoModal() on a simple dialog, and in OnInitDialog() am trying to set some text on a CStatic. But on the emulator, the text doesn't change from the default text. On the device it works as expected.
Same for if I try and change text on a CButton, or other dialogs objects.
After OnInitDialog() is done I can change the text just fine.
What gives

- Hello everybody, i am working on MS .NET 2003 with SQL Server 2000 and XML File as a local storage in my ppc application. The problem is, the application works fine in the real device, but when i try to run in the pocketpc emulator 2000 (default) it "hangs" there when i try to access the database.. - I am having problem populating dropdownlist2 which is based on the dropdownlist1.
For example if i select comm_room in dropdownlist1, dropdownlist2 should have multiple ocurance of comm_room (at different lcoations) and then I should be able to select one record from dropdownlsit2 and populate location infor in text filed.

- Hello! In my project I'm using a NotifyIcon to be shown in the icon bar. The problem is that the NotifyIcon updates alot and often and after running the app for a few days the ram is almost empty and the phone hangs. So how should I prevent this Using .dispose() I'm not really in to native programming so I'm not a good invoker :p, maybe that's the problem I'm using NETCF2. Thanks in advance!

I tried to do some examples in Visual Basic.
To get a context to northwnd worked very well.
Than I tried this:
Console.WriteLine(context.Products(0).ProductId)
And the compiler says to me:
Error 1 'Products' is not a member of 'Microsoft.Jasper.DynamicContext'.
Is there a workaround to get the compiler working and do some source code examples
