It would be really helpful if my command window would mark code that I've run with a date and time, so that I can go back to what I ran three days ago. Does anybody know if this is possible Thanks!

I think you will find the file with commands in C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Visual FoxPro 9\_command.prg. You may manually add date and time at the at end of a vfp session or create a small program to do that when you exit from vfp.

I think manual will be just as easy. Thanks. Wouldn't it just be NOW() or TODAY(), something like that

Re: date and time

NOW() or TODAY() will not work because the result is showed on screen, not in command window...anyway it can find some tricks....

It would probably be more work than it is worth but you could run a little program every time you start, to open _command.prg (it's just a text file), copy it to memory -FILETOSTR()- then go to the bottom and add a line "------"and CR and the date with DTOC(DATE()) or you could also use datetime if you wanted.
