Does anyone know of a way to copy the results of a query straight into Access

I you have the query result in a cursor (and you are in hurry) you may use:

COPY TO ...TYPE FOXPLUS...

Access "knows" to open dbf files.

I used that but it creates a DBF file...I want it to create a mdb file

Even if I use the TYPE FOXPLUS, how can I get it opened in Access without Importing

There is a class in Downloads section on for profite website http://www.universalthread.com/wconnect/wc.dll 2,2,10047 allowing to import DBF to Access and vs. versa. You would need to login to this site first, though.

You can use ODBC, OLEDB (preferred) or Access automation to do that. For an existing access database and tables an easy way would be to create a view or SPT cursor in VFP and then simply append records from your query to it, update.
