Hi there,

I have a report that I want created in html. I know you can use

report form myReport.frx object type 5

but this sends it to a default directory. I would like to control where the output goes so that I can send it out programmatically.

Thanks

According to the docs for the ReportListener HTML Foundation Class, you can do it like this.

Code Block

LOCAL oHtml

* SET PATH TO (HOME() + "FFC") ADDITIVE

oHtml = NEWOBJECT("HtmlListener","_reportlistener.vcx")
oHtml.targetFileName = "c:\temp\myOutput.htm"

REPORT FORM OBJECT oHtml

Yes this worked! Thank You! Is there someway to turn the message off that ask if you want to paste the link to the clipboard

also, if I create a distributable exe will I have to include additional files to get this to work ie the _ReportLlistener.vcx

Yes, you will have to include at least the _ReportListener.vcx: the Project Manager should pull whatever you need in when you rebuild the EXE. Theoretically. :-)

For the other question, I'm not sure: a quick dig through the FFC code doesn't show me. If you don't beat me to it, I'll trace through it later and figure out where it's set.
