    - Message for display during macro execution I tried the userform route again without any luck. I added a userform called UserForm2 and placed a captioned label and a command button on it.     - Is there any field event such as 'Entering' or 'Focus' for MS word form There are a number of different sorts of "fields" in Word - can you be clearer on exactly what you mean If it is a field from the Forms toolbar, then right click on it, and choose Properties from the menu. Or you could use the "Form Field Options" button from the Forms toolbar. That will call up a dialog box which has options on it for the macro to run on entry and exit of that field.     - Different classes in one collection As you've said you're new to VBA, I'm just checking that when you say "class" you really mean class and not data type. Classes are used to refer to types of OLE objects (linked/embedded objects), eg "Excel.Sheet" or "Excel.Chart", where data types are things like integer, string, boolean, variant, etc. I will assume that you do mean class. It would help if you could tell us what application you're writing the VBA for. In the case of classes, Word and Access have different syntax to determine an object's class. It would also help if you posted a proper sample of the section of code that generates the error. The For Each statement will loop through each object in the collection, not each class of object. You could have an IF or CASE statement within the FOR loop to determine what class each object is. The following example I have not tested in any way, so could well contain typos or syntax errors. Code Block For Each oObject in myCollection Select Case oObject.Class Case "Excel.Sheet" ' do what you want for this class Case "Excel.Chart" ' do what you want for this class End Select Next oObject I think the .Class property works in Access and Outlook. For Word, use .ClassType instead. Excel uses "class" to mean something different, and I'm not sure if it's possible to have a collection of them, so I assume it's not Excel you're using. We have an English and Chinese version of the same database (we cannot copy the English version to Chinese). We want to maintain the English version and have routine to pull, or push, the forms,queries, modules and reports to the Chinese copy. Anyone know of some slick code to do this
