    - How do I deal with files of more than 65k rows? It's time-based data, a series of step inputs are applied to a machine and the response is recorded at a rate of 10 milliseconds for the 5 or 10 seconds that the test runs. Some of the tests abort, and some don't, but all of the data is recorded because you have to pay attention to operating the machine which means you can't delete the aborted tests as you go along. The code goes line by line through the data, ignoring an aborted test when it gets to an abort flag and calculating a bunch of things from the signals. Everyone here uses Excel a lot so there are reasons for doing it in VBA. The tool works really well until I run out of rows....I guess maybe I'll have to learn C or Matlab. If you register and map your app with the Winqual servers, then the servers will at least occasionally request minidump information from your app, and then you'll be able to download the minidumps from Winqual. Another option is to shut off the Internet connection when the crash occurs. The dialogs will then be displayed, but when WER finds out it cannot send stuff to the servers, it will archive the crash data (including minidumps) so that they can be re-sent at some later point in time. A variation of this idea is to set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\CorporateWERServer to the name of some machine in your network. When a crash occurs, WER will assume that a "Corporate Error Reporting" server is running on that box, and will try to talk to port 1273. If there's no answer, then WER will probably create the minidump and keep it around for later. Of course, you could also set up a real Corporate Error Reporting server which always requests the minidump information from the client. I haven't tried this myself yet, though.     - How do I accomplish this in VBA using Office 97 and later? I am trying to come up with a system that would improve efficiency in creating Request for Quote and Purchase Orders. As an example, here is what I am trying to do with the Request for Quote. 1.) A new document from a template called "Request for Quote" is created. 2.) The system asks for an Excel file to import that has bid item information in specific columns and from a set row down to the end. 3.) The system uses an Outlook address book to pull up a list of vendors. You can then select a checkbox control next to each vendor to include the vendor. Vendors are displayed one by one from top to bottom. 4.) The same thing done in step 3 is performed for the bid items using the Excel file imported earlier. 5.) The information is appropriately placed in the template. I can apply the Request for Quote concepts to Purchase Orders. Upon saving, closing and opening the document, the Message Box appeared as it should. I closed the Immediate window, closed the module 1 code window and then tried to close the VB Editor window by clicking the x at top right. This caused a warning message box to appear saying "This command will stop the debugger". I select OK in this warning box and then click the x at top right in the VB Editor window again. Hi, I have been having several problems on a complicated excel spreadheet that I have been developing, that have led me to believe that the file i am working on has been corrupted. The problems started when I switched PC's that I used for developing (i.e. was given a slower PC to work on). Since then, I have been having all sorts of problems with my macros. Now, even when I open the file on other, faster machines, the results are still unstable, with features that were previously working normally still not working. However, when I duplicate the exact same code, and trigger it when a different value on the sheet changes, the new procedure works.     - Assigning text box input to cells I have two problems. here is the first; In Excel I have a userform that prompts the user to enter values in text boxes. hi, i resently had some problems with spyware trojans and i erased alot of infected componants on my pc with avg, including over 100 cookies. and today my windows live messenger was freezing everytime i tried to log on. so after ceveral attempt and redowloads it finally works but i can't check my hotmail due to a message block that i'm missing windows id cookies. so how do i get those or how to unvlock them if they're being block. thnkx in advance

I haven't had a problem logging into Hotmail until today. But I've followed ALL the instructions for allowing cookies & still can't log into MSN, Live ID or Hotmail. I receive the error message further below.

Do I have to download something from Live ID

I had the same problem. I solved it by going to internet options under tools, then advanced tab, then hit the RESET button. Note all your cookies and default settings will be set to default. Also this is Internet Eplorer 7.
