Hi - as part of a system i have built we have a purchase order system - certain users who have rights can view existing purchase orders in datasheet view and then double clicking on the relevant PO number allows them to go into the PO and edit it etc. There is a void tick box that i have added that when ticked means that people know to disregard that particular PO as invalid. However i want to make it more obvious. when it has been ticked i then want it to display in the datasheet view with either a red backrgound for that row or a line struck through it.

any ideas

Thanks,

Rhys.

Hi Rhys, Is there a reason that those invalid PO's need to be in the datasheet at all Like maybe base the the datasheet on a query or, if you are using a SQL back end, a stored procedure that only show those records where the void box has not been ticked

Hi melody45, yes there is a reason - management and finance want to be able to see all void PO's too so that they can see the PO number just to ensure that if a PO comes in on that number then they know that it needs to be disputed etc. They can see that because the box is ticked but i was hoping to make it really obvious by bolding it or putting a line through it.
