I am currently working on a VB macro which has to get references in Word documents in order to make a traceability matrix.

My problem comes from a document, in which the references are Outlinenumbers in a column containing this outlinenumber list. I have to get the value of the cells of this column, but these outlinenumbers (auto-incremented numbers) are neither strings nor numbers... I don t know the type and then I don t know how to get the value.

Any idea that would be great because i m currently stopped in my internship because of that.
