What is this error No hits on google, nothing wrong with the page....nothing (that I know of) has changed recently.

- Suppress Linked View Unique Record Popup Hi there im linking a view on an ms sql server to my access database using VBA using DoCmd.TransferDatabase acLink, etc.etc. How ever, I can NOT get the `Select Unique record Identifier` pop up to stop coming up when the link is being made. I dont care about needing a unique identifier, its a read only record source. The only way ive found is using sendkeys command to cancel the popup - however this can not be relied on, if it happens when the user doesn't have the access window in focus, it fails and the pop up appears. - Setting the Data Format for a Column via VBA I need my datetime stamp to show both, but by default, I guess, when VBA compiles my data from SQL Server, only the date shows. I change this and save the workbook, but the format gets over-written each time the data is placed into the sheet. I hope that there is a way to change the data format for a given column via VBA after I compile by data from SQL Server...Any help on this issue would be appreciated. Thanks! - Compatibility Issue Excel 2000 and Excel 2003 I wrote a macros for a customer in Excel 2003. He didn't tell me he used Excel 2000 until after the project and like an idiot I forgot to ask. The macros will not run on his version of Excel 2000. A compile error shows up. So he got a version of Excel 2003 and the macros will still not work for him. I have tested this macros on other machines using 2003 and they all work correctly for me. I live in the US and the customer lives in the UK. When he runs the macros it immediately goes into the debugging window and highlights a bit of code that simply references the path of the existing folder to a variable. The exact code is: DestFolder = ThisWorkbook.Path & "\" There is a compile error with a message that the data folder or project cannot be accessed. The folder the macros resides in that I zipped and sent him was not password protected by me nor can I think of why he cannot access the path to the folder with this bit of code. - How to activate a listbox selection using Excel VBA? Hi, I am very new to VBA Progamming. I have created a tool which checks for error in excel file. The below is my problem. First i will select a file using Openfile method. Then the combobox will display all the sheets which are present in the selected excel file. Here i will select a excel sheet and run a code to check errors. The procedure will check the errors and shows how many errors are there. Like #NA, #Value.....etc Now i want to get all the errors into listbox/Combobox, either the error name or text and cell reference. Note: I am not adding any list to listbox using additem or using Range method. Once the errors display in list box, If i click on any error the control should go that corresponding Excel cell where the error is present. That is i wanted to activate the cell which contains the error. I have an idea that we have to use cell referrece here. - Conditional Formatting Problem/Bug? This is my first time in a forum. I have mostly found all the answers I could but I can't seem to find the answer for this: I don't know if this is a bug in excel or if I am doing something wrong. I start a new Excel application from another workbook and apply a conditional format that uses an array formula for its condition (I have read that conditional formatting always formulates in array). The conditional format doesn't apply. I need to select the cells with the conditional format, goto to the Conditional Formatting toolbar and reapply it manually. That is, I actually have to select the cells then goto Format->Conditional Format-> I see the formula applied and click OK and the conditional format works. We have many word documents in a folder that have hundreds of tables within them. I want to create an automation program that is going to retrieve tables from the word document specified and go through the document table by table copying these tables into a separate Excel sheet named after the document itself. As I have never worked with VBA before I was able to get code that finds the tables in a word document but I want the program to create a loop that can copy these tables into a spreadsheet. - Excel: Can a UDF tell what cell it was invoked from? I have a need to check other values in the same row, and/or same column as the cell being processed. My User Defined Function therefore needs to know what cell is invoking it. It is certainly not ActiveCell. My function works if I pass it a string (e.g. "H12") to tell the UDF what cell it is, but that's too messy to populate through hundreds of cells. - Problem with PasteSpecial Hello Everybody, I am facing one strange problem in one of my VBA applications. The application uses the normal "Paste" to paste one copied signature file. I would like to use the "PasteSpecial" feature instead, so that only the text of the signature file gets inserted and not its background shade. My code snippet: Code Snippet With Selection .Range.PasteSpecial datatype:=wdPasteEnhancedMetafile End With The change works fine with a certain defect. Using normal "Paste", if 2 signature files are pasted one after the other, then the 2nd signature file comes in front of the 1st, which is correct. But using "Paste Special", I find that the 2nd signature file gets pasted on top of the 1st! This is not something that I want. When I checked the layouts of the pasted pictures of each method, I found the following: PasteSpecial -> Layout is " In Front of Text " Paste -> Layout is " In Line with Text " I am not sure if this could be the reason for this strange behavior. If so, could anyone of you experts kindly suggest how to change the layout settings in VBA to make PasteSpecial layout the same as Paste. - Run Time Error 9 when Calling a Userform Hi folks, I am getting a run time error # 9 when I run a macro that calls a Userform or when I try to run code in a Userform module. The code performs beautifully on my computer, but it did not work on a coworker's computer. It ended up working on 3 out of the 5 computers I have tried it on. I have tried changing security settings to low, and a bunch of other stuff, but I cannot get the code to run on the computers that get the run time error on them when I try running the code on them. I get the run time error when I try to load or show any userform in the workbook and I get it if I try to run code that is in the userform module. However, if I paste the code into a regular module and run it, the code runs fine. Does anyone know what could be causing this I don't my code is causing the problem since it runs on some machines, I am guessing there is a setting that is preventing Excel from calling Userforms. - Access Data Project, form bound to Sproc, need to update, etc I have an Access Data Project. SQL Server backend, access forms. I have a form bound to a stored procedure. The storede procedure is based on two tables. The form needs to update and delete records in one of the tables. I set the Unique Table property to the table I need updated. When I try to update a record I get the error'This recordset is not updateable" It worked fine when the record source was he table. - Answer Error Report processing delay Hi, I've signed up for WER and done some of the important steps by now: 1. Obtained Verisign ID 2. Setup a proxy caching Symbol Store to hold our symbols and also cache the msdl ones. 3. Source indexing on all my binaries to automatically extract the correct source code from svn for the relevant crash dumps. 4. Mapped my products using the Product Feedback mapping tool. I've managed to get my application to not respond several times. The Fault report dialog popped up and I clicked Send which succeeded. I've also managed to get a crash to happen which I also sent. The Crash32 event has now shown up in WER, but there is still no sign of the hangs. My questions are: 1. Does an application hang also show up in WER 2. What is the turnaround from when the user clicks Send to when the event appears in WER Do you do a batch process every day Or less often 3. How does WER decide to only register a few details about the event, or to get a full minidump My crash only has a few details, and reports that it has requested a CAB. I tried using the today() function in a spreadsheet and getting the data from that cell and also calling it explicitly in a vba script and have had no success. any help will be appreciated. Thanks! It was, at least on my end anyway. I removed the MSNBC Tech portion from the page and the message went away.

If you have any web parts turned on like the weather update or MSNBC news it will generate those errors.
Delete these web parts from your page and it will fix the problem.

External webparts like MSNBC or weather update are causing this issue.
Delete these from you page and it will fix the problem.

Log on to the Share point with Admin Right.
Click on the 'Edit Page'.
On the MSNBC web part, click on the down arrow on the right and select 'Close'.
