Hi, I'm a Mechanical Engineer from Chennai, India, with about 2 years experience in Project Engineering. I worked with the order management team of an MNC and handled inquiries on design, material and manufacturing, co-ordinated with vendors and clients, and have also done post shipment analysis.

I just want to know if studying SAP - MM or SD will be a good career option for a mechanical engineer. I also want to know if I'll get a job immediately after studying SAP and what are the technical skills that IT companies expect when they recruit people. It would be nice if someone with a similar background explains his/her experience about the selection process, the interview and career growth pattern that one can expect in this field.
