hooch

I hate people that don't put what they want in the subject and I just did it. But I am not sure what I want. I am hoping someone has an idea for me.

I have a vb script that parses a file and sends it off to a server a line at a time. The server prossess it and then the next line is sent. Depending upon which server I am sending it to and how busy it is this can take from 10 minutes to 2 hours.

It is done at a low priority.

What I am looking for is someway to track its progress. I have a MsgBox("Done") come up when it is done but I have no idea when that is going to happen. A progress bar or just a window with a count in it or some other way is fine, since each file contains about 50 lines I would know where it is at in the procedure.

This has to be simple and I do not have .net or an editor. It is just a plain old everyday aaa.vbs file written in what ever vb version is on XP and Scheduled Tasks runs everyday. I tried to import it into Acess or Excel but the special Library that was given to me made almost nothing work.

I hope I have given enough information and somebody has an idea.

Thanks for any help.
