I am fairly new to VB.Net 2005 - just installed it before the holidays and now I am converting old vb.net 2002 code to 2005.

I have however worked with 2002 and 2003 for some time now.

In the 2005 IDE I do not see all my declarations of code modules.

I have the form selected in the class drop down but only some declarations show in the method drop down, not all of them that are in the form.

2002 and 2003 displayed all subroutines and funtions so is there a setting in the VB.Net 2005 IDE that will let me see all of the functions/subroutines that are in the form

Thanks

Which methods do not appear Can you provide a minimal sample code

The methods that do not appear are all the ones that the system creates for you when you want to use an event for the object.

For instance:

Private Sub cmbClose_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles cmbClose.Click

Private Sub lvJobSummary_DoubleClick(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles lvJobSummary.DoubleClick

Private Sub mnuInvoice_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles mnuInvoice.Click

and others.

Basically it appears that the only functions and subroutines that show in the drop down are the ones that I manually created.

If I select the object from the class drop down then I can see all the events for that object and like the older versions of VB.Net the events that have code behind them are in bold type, but when I have the form itself selected in the class drop down - nothing but my home made functions and subs.

Could this be something with converting a VB.Net 2002 project to VB.Net 2005

Is anyone familar with this problem

I converted a 2002 vb.net project to vb.net 2005 and in the IDE when the form is selected I can not see all the functions and subs in the declarations drop down list.
