    - I am trying to find the duplicate files in all my drives,the answer is to technical, please help? That code could be a good start, but it actually compare the file name, length and modified time. If the definition of duplicated file is different, and comparing the content of the file is needed, it will need some extra code. Note, the process might have no right to list a directory or read a file, so it couldn't scan all files on the machine. Note, that you shouldn't convert encrypted strings into strings, because you then will have to convert them back to byte arrays for decryption, using the same converter (or it won't work), which can be a hassle to remember - if you want to save something encrypted to a file, simply write the bytes directly to a file using the System.Io.BinaryWriter instead... To do this I've setup my form with the WebBrowser docked to the bottom of the form, and a text box docked at the top. Now, the process I have decided for this, is in DocumentComplete, run the command TextBox.text = WebBrowser. (something or other). How can I get the text box to display the source HTML of the WebBrowser To do the rest, I'll simply parse the text in the TextBox for the items required, and on that basis, send the WebBrowser to a new url. If the document fails to load, then I'll alternatively leave the textbox empty, and no automation will occur. Return Status End Function End Class I started writing this class, because I "assumed" you were using VB.Net 2003, because this method is kind of obsolete if you are using VB 2005, as it has its own ping function, and certainly VB 2008 will also have a Ping function. The Code still works, but it is more reliable to use the managed version, in case the Windows ping command hangs, and does not exit quickly enough to read the output. In VB 2005, you can call Ping from the "My" namespace. Not sure what namespace Ping is found in .Net Framework 3.0, but if they have a help file finished, you could probably search for it. I remember having trouble in the past installing VS 2003 on a machine that already had VS 2005, but maybe there's a workaround I don't know about. VS 6.0 will install fine (as long as you're not running Vista) but after installation all of your VS 2005 Solution files will be displayed with the VS 6.0 icon and won't open properly when you double-click on them. The fix is to right-click on the icon, choose Open With>>Select the program from a list>>Microsoft Visual Studio Version Selector and then check the checkbox "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".     - Loop to read/update class atributes Hi, I have a class with some properties ( name, surname, phone, address... ..) and I also have a form with some controls(textbox) with the same name as the class' properties and I was wondering if instead of updating the properties by typing something like myclass.name.set (name.text ), myclass.surname.set(surname.text) (if the class has a lot of properties it could be quite boring) I could do something more generic.     - Copy from HTML to Excel Man, this really had me stumped. I believe what you are attempting to do is take some plain text that contains html mark-up code. Is is always coded properly Will it ever be a fragment that does not display properly in Internet Explorer Since it is already "decoded" into plain text w/ html mark-up, I think you will want to copy and paste it as normal text, and it should (hopefully) work. I tried making some simple html code in plain text, and pasting it as plain text, and Excel seems to display it in Html OK.     - using NonSerializedAttribute class with Visual Basic events Sorry, missed the point it was an event. So you have a class that exposes an event and one of the consumers of that event is non serializable, therefore when you serialize your class, you get an error. I guess there are a couple of options that spring to mind. One is to supply a serialization surrogate for your class, and the other is to implement Runtime.Serialization.ISerializable and handle the process yourself. It's really quite simple to write your own serialization code .. here's an in depth article you might like to read http://www.codeguru.com/columns/DotNet/article.php/c6595/ Just remember to serialize in the GetObjectData member and create an appropriate ctor that the deserialzation routine can use. But then i come back tomorow and it is in a completely different veiw, Its in code!

And so I need to find a way to make it a form again
