Is there a way to set up an alert at the site level so that if anything changes in the site, send me an email notification The only way I can see to do it is to go into every library, list, discussion, etc and set up individual alerts.

I'm hoping there is a faster way Smile

Re: SharePoint - General Question and Answers and Discussion Can you setup an alert at the site level?

Mr. Lou Sanderson

This is certianly a needed functionality. Unfortunately I do not know how to get SP to do this. -- Even if I subscribe to an alert on every library, list, discussion, etc. , if someone were to add a new one I wouldnt get an alert telling me so. You are right Michele, there needs to be an easier way.

Is setting up an alert on a search query an option

I agree with the other posters, there is no way to set up alerts for the site.

I haven't tried it yet, but SharePoint Alert Manager on codeplex looks interesting.

I would also really like a method to alert me when a new page added.
