Hi Everyone,

I would like to add 2 additional webpart zones to the Default.aspx of my WSS 3.0 site. I do not have sharepoint designer, how can I accomplish this

Thanks

I think you go and get sharepoint designer Smile

I don't mean to be flippant, but it's inexpensive and the right tool for the job.

I don't typically mess around with wss only sites, but I know in MOSS you can download and upload layout files via the SharePoint UI (manage content and structure). You will most likely want to copy the default layout and create your own from it but you could just edit that one as well.

That being said, SharePoint Designer is pretty gosh darn helpful (especially considering the SP tags are pretty terse).

Download the free trial of SharePoint Designer and create the zones.

I hope this helps,
