Hi all-

Let me start this off by saying that I am not a web-designer and that I know just enough HTML to be dangerous.

I need to know if there is a simple way to customize the look and feel of the My Site pages, both the private and the public profile pages. Essentially I need to add a company logo and a custom graphic and then apply a theme that will carry across to all users who create a My Site on this particular site host.

I'm hoping that this can be done simply, in the GUI or by using SharePoint Designer in WYSIWYG mode, as again, I'm not much of a coder (just a cranky sysadmin!)

Thanks for any advice ro input.

You would need to modify the SPSMSITES or SPSPERS (I forgot which) site definitions to get your functionality across the board for your MySites. Unfortunately, It would not work really well with SharePoint Designer, but if you want to try it out, go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\SiteTemplates. Just modify the aspx pages that correspond to the live pages you want to see adjusted.

A custom master page can be used as well, but that requires even more modification so it does not interfere with your other site types.
