The idea is that when someone adds a new record to a custom list, an "New Item" email is sent. Then when it is modified, the "Modified" email is sent. When the record is closed, a "Modified and "Closed" email is sent.

Here is how it DOES work:

When I create a new item, the "New" email goes out. When I modify the item. No email. But if I modify it again, I get the previous modify email. And this keeps working this way, the modified email is always one step behind.

When I close the record, I get the closed email, and the PREVIOUS modified email. Problem is, the close should make a modified email too. But it send the email that was made from the previous modify.

Recap, the modify email always is one action behind, and finally when the record is closed out, the final modified email gets lost, it is never sent.

Where am I going wrong

Thanks,

Michael
