Hi there,

I have a requirement where I need to provide access to a WSS 3.0 site for multiple users, however I need to some how do this in a way where each user cannot view who else has access to the site.

For example, when User1 logs in they cannot go to "People and Groups" and see the list of other users, ie. User2, User 3 etc.

I know this is the opposite to what sharepoint is designed to do (collaboration etc.), but if anyone knows how this can be achieved, it would be very helpful!

Cheers, Mick

could you remove the users access to the People and Groups list

Thanks, but it appears you are not able to do that. When you view the permissions for that list it doesn't list any, as opposed to listing everyone by default on other lists.

I'm starting to wonder if I have to build a custom control and put it on the people.aspx page to check if the user is the Administrator, if not, deny them access. I was hoping there would be an easier way.
