    - Adding a column to custom list I haven't tried that yet. If I had to guess the problem is they modified newform and editform with SharePoint Designer. So if you wanted the new items to show up you would have to manually edit the page also.     - Is there a way to have "expand all" on by default in Sharepoint Calendar? You could write a simple web-part that displays the next, 5 days of meetings, or something like this, calendar items are just list items. There might be some limits as to what you can show, say one webpart, for each calendar, or you could rollup all of the calendars into one big list. I am not sure on your development level or if you even thought about going this route, but hope it helped. Hi everbody here,

I am doing capacity planning for moss 2007 installation.

i need to know as where the SSP database (On application server meant for indexing or On the application server meant for search or On the sql database server) would reside

One more clarification which i want here is whether conent index database and SSP database are same things or not.

The SSP database would be stored on the SQL database server. I believe the index is stored in the SharedServices Search database, but am not positive.

so where will be the location of sharedservices search database.Is it similiar to index database,if not where will index database be located.

i am seriously confusion between ssp database, serach database and inex database and location of all these databases(application servers or database servers).

please help me in getting this doubt clarified
