I have installed Onenote, and am trying to host a shared notebook on the Office Live sharepoint server. Via IE7, I can get to the files on the site, open them, etc, etc with no problem.

The problem comes when I try to have Onenote load up and automatically authenticate to the sharepoint server. At best, I have to click sync, then type in my windows ID username and password everytime. At worst, I have to close the notebook, and reopen it with https://xxx.yyy.zzz/notebook.

Any suggestions on how to get this to log into the sharepoint site automatically EVerytime I reboot I have to do this- not bad for me, but not an option for users....

Try putting the site in your trusted sites zone.

Thanks Shane, I've tried that already. No luck. Still asks me to sign in everytime.
