I have content editor web part that one of my designers added to the page. When I go to "Edit" the page, it gives me a generic "An Unexpected Error Has Occurred" error. It wasn't happening before this user added that web part and so I would like to see if it actually is this web part that is causing the problem. However, whenever I go to Edit the page, I get the Unexpected Error. I remember in SPS 2003, there was a page that would allow you to remove web parts from a page without having to be in design view of that page. Does this functionality exist in MOSS 2007

Please help

Re: SharePoint - Design and Customization Removing Web Parts

Hi,

give it a try to place the following parameters at the end of your url:

&toolpaneview=2

Otherwise you could use Sharepoint Designer to edit your page and remove the webpart.
