I'm working with Sharepoint Services 3.0, Sharepoint Designer, and Visual Studio 2005. I created a child site and have the quicklaunch bar showing. When I click on the main Documents link in the quicklaunch bar - it goes to the All Site Content page. Up at the top of the page the breadcrumbs show up with a link to the parent site. When I try to open the page to modify it (remove the place holder) - I get an error "_layouts/viewlsts.aspx Files in layout folder not available for editing" . I've modified the master page but it's not showing thru. I'm lost.

Re: SharePoint - Design and Customization Remove Breadcrumbs on All Site Content Page

You can change the core.css and give it display: none; Try to play with that.
