Greetings.

We are currently in the process of setting up a new SharePoint server with Forms based security. Since we will be using multiple Internet users we wanted to avoid the hassles of Active Directory for all (As default) and we are having some issues getting the initial forms based setup to function. It seems this wonderful feature is not well documented and the few articles we have found have been less than helpful.

Does anyone have enough experience to give us a little guidance on the security setup using forms including the security database setup or have an idea where a guidance document is

Any help would be appreciated!

To add to the setup and implementation, be sure that you are not going beyond what your licensing agreement allows. Even if you use WSS 3.0, you will still need to set up appropriate licenses for non company accounts (AD-based or not).
