Hi,

I am trying to adapt my WebDAV object set to communicate with Sharepoint. The object set works fine with Exchange 2K/2K3. However, when I attempt to issue a PROPPATCH method against SharepoinI get a conflict failure. My request is sent as:

Code Block

PROPPATCH /Documents/Saxonite%20Ts%20and%20Cs.doc HTTP/1.1
Content-Type: text/xml; charset="utf-8"
Host: rhum
Content-Length: 171
Translate: f
Accept: text/xml
Cache-Control: no-cache
Connection: Keep-Alive
Depth: 0

< xml version="1.0" >
<d:propertyupdate xmlns:d="DAV:" xmlns:e="urn:schemas-saxonite-com:test">

<d:set><d:prop><e:fred>value</e:fred></d:prop></d:set>

</d:propertyupdate>

When I get a response, it reads:

</D:propstat>
</D:response>
</D:multistatus>

< xmlns:Office="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" xmlns:D="DAV:">

I have tried it with and without namespaces, I have tried locking the document prior to update. I have also tried the same option using ADO:MSDAIPP and I get this error every time (actually I hust get an error from ADO, but I assume its the same).

I would appreciate any help that anyone can offer.

Keith

I have similar problem. Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0 responds with 409 Conflict when I'm trying to set a custom property.
