I'm trying to find the best way to migrate an existing Oracle driven portal site to MOSS 2007. Most of the pages are static html, with some custom web parts that we will be building. The obvious yet tedious approach is to copy and paste the content page by page. Unfortunately, i'm looking at around 1,000 pages. Any suggestions on a smarter approach to this

I'm not sure if there really is a way around this, but to help you out, you should copy and paste the content into a Word document. Publish the Word document into your MOSS 2007 environment. Once the document has been published and approved, you can convert it to a webpage. Note: You have to use the Word 2007 (Open XML) format for this feature.
