Hi,

I have a problem in my WSS 3.0 site.

On a standard-site I want to set the height of a webpart with a ordinary list to be fixed, ( for example height 300px)

However if the list contains more information it floats out and presses the webpart under (in the same webpartzone) out of the page. I want the upper webpart to overflow so that it will get a scrolling function instead of floating out.

I have tried to set the height in the webpartsettings on the site where you can set the height with no result.

I have tried to edit the webpartzone with setting the heigth to 300px and overflow to auto. Still no result. It continues to float out...

Am I doing something genarally wrong here

If anyone could give me any advice, I would be most grateful.

Thanx

If you go to Modify Web Part Settings for the particular web part through the browser, set the height, it should add a scroll bar without the overflow going over the height you set. However, if this isn't working for some reason, you could always add the CSS style of "overflow: scroll". What web part are you using

Hi again,

It's the listview webpart I am using.

Have tried everything I can but it does't work with that webpart.

When use the page viewer webpart it works as it should... Although that webpart will not work for my customer.

Does anyone have an Idea of how I could get around this problem. What I want to do is to use two different listview webparts in the left column. Toghether the two of them are supposed to fill out 100% of the page. If there are more information in each of the list there should be a scroll within the list/webpart and not for the whole page.

Best regards

/Kenth
