Can anyone assist me with setting up Sharepoint to use a directory for users to login to

I have a domain controller 'server' running Windows 2000 Server, a domain 'mydomain' and a Sharepoint 2003 server 'server2' running Windows 2003 Server.

My aim is to browse to the http://server2 and for the user to login using their domain credentials and all content and permission to be assigned to that user. Im sure that this is a common task, but I am unable to find a suitable guide.

Any help appreciated.

Sharepoint does this by default within the domain the server's a member of.

You will need to import the user profiles into SharePoint and give them authorization. I think this is done via the SSP.
