Hi,

Im using Microsoft DirectX SDK (February 2007).

Im using the sampleframework and when I load many textures my framrate drops down very fast. I load the texture before the rendering starts (Im not loading the texture in the rendering).

Before Loading Anything: 217fps

The following textures are rendered using a VertexBuffer and 4 vertices.
My game screen resolution is 1024x768.

- Render a 744x1039 pixel .png texture (907kb) - Framerate: 165 fps
- Render a 744x1039 pixel .png texture (907kb) - Framerate: 133 fps
- Render a 744x1039 pixel .png texture (907kb) - Framerate: 23 fps

Any ideas
