Is the plan that the forums at the XNA Creators Club Forums will eventually replace these forums It seems to work pretty well for the ASP.NET guys, so I hope this may be the case.

Looks like they jumped the gun on DreamBuildPlay a little bit, the site hasn't been updated yet.

GDC week is always a lot of fun. I expect there might be more interesting news yet to come :-)

Coolness. The new forums look good and hopefully will work better than this one (although I didn't see any smilie implementation ) I'll be spending my lunch time going over everything there.

it is going live shortly. the press release had to go out a day earlier due to it being an international release. we're almost there folks... hang on.

Yes, these forums will be switched so that you can't make new posts soon, but we will not delete existing discussions

I agree. I just spent my lunch break downloading everything I could get my hands on. Fantastic resources! Can't wait to see what else is in store.

They just made the DBP competitions a whole lot tougher... :)

Some of the examples are really cool.

On the contrary, I think they actually leveled the playing field a bit. People who haven't had a chance to play around with animations and advanced graphics may never have known that these things existed or had a clue where to start. To have a free, working sample really helps everyone to create even better and more polished games.

That's what makes it tougher, since the games will be of higher quality
