XNAResources.com is about to launch the next site in our site network... The site is called XNACommunityArcade!  We hope that it will turn into THE CENTRAL listing place for all XNA created games!  Since right now there is no "Arcade" for the games developed with XNA we want to start building one for the community!

Here is a screenshot of the site:

http://www.xnaresources.com/xnacommunityarcade.png

The site will be launching this weekend but we wanted to get information about the games that everyone is working on or has available right now... if you can please send and email to contact@xnaresources.com with the following info:

1.) Game Title and a GOOD DESCRIPTION

2.) Game Details: Windows Comp., XBOX Comp.,HD resolution support, widescreen support, multi-player support, etc...

3.) Link to the website for the game

4.) Link to a location with 3 screenshots of the game

We will also be hosting game downloads for people that need a place to do so but the process for users to submit and manage their own listings isn't in place yet... if we can get everyone to email in their details we should be able to launch the site with a good number of games already listed!  Also if you dont have a place where you have the screens, etc please let us know via email... in the mean time you can email us the screens and files, etc and we will host them for you.

George Clingerman

Wonderful service you're doing for the community Jason (and crew). Thanks so much for everything you guys have done and are doing....now I just need to go finish another game :)

Thanks George!

You know something... there are several posts on here about the Creators Club subscription and it not really being worth the $99/year right now... but after loading up Rocket Commander XNA on my 360 the other day you can really start to see the value of the $99 subscription... give it a few months and it will be like have TONS of free arcade games! If you look at Pac Man and Dig Dug, etc... people are paying a couple of bucks for each of those games and 10-15 for the indie games that are out there... XNA is going to bring TONS of games to the community... there are already several of them that are fun to play and are great additions to the "arcade" on my 360!

We want to give people a good reason to go get that subscription by putting together a great listing of games that are already available so people can start to realize the value of the CC subscription... the more people that do get involved the better! We can all grow as developers by having more and more people have access to the content we create!

Looks great Jason. Unfortunately, the only game that I have is the one I'm working on for the dreambuildplay competition and I'm not going to reveal anything about it. I'm sure I'll have a couple of submissions after the competition is over.

I've had a community "arcade" site for a few months now. You can check it out at www.threesixbox.com

Users can join, upload their own projects and screenshots, and modify their own information any time they want. It's fast and easy.

Hey Derek! We love your site and visit it often! XNACommunityAracade will focus on just playable games to that people can download and play... This is really just an extension of our XNAResources.com website and part of our planned XNA Resource Network... users will be able register for accounts on our site but we dont want to launch the site empty... after the initial launch users will be able to register and update their games and add new games on their own... We will be launching several sites in the next month or two devoted to XNA!

I personally believe it's definately worth it, after all that subscription turns your PC into effectly a XB360 Development Workstation. Whilst it would be nice to have our own community forum etc for the club, I can't complain I'm currently able to program the 360 with what we have so far.

Jason I am as excited as you are about the possibilities.
